WE WANT TO MAKE A SPLASH! TAKE A CHANCE, MAKE A CHANGE
We are showing our support by joining together.
Together we can be louder and reach out wider! Raising awareness, making a splash, swimming laps and raising funds for a good cause.
We are taking part in the LAP it UP swim challenge to raise awareness and funds for Youth Live4Life’s mental health education and youth suicide prevention model (Live4Life).
Live4Life communities deliver Youth Mental Health First Aid training in schools and the wider community, help to lead conversations about mental health that reduce stigma, and promote young leaders as mental health ambassadors.
Australia's suicide rate is 40% higher in rural over metropolitan areas. Please support my LAP it UP swim challenge - your donation can help to increase mental health knowledge among secondary school students, teachers, parents, carers and community members in rural and regional areas.
Thank you so much!

Friday 11th OctYOU WON'T KNOW UNTIL YOU GIVE IT A GO! :)
Friday 11th Oct I am swimming laps for this great cause, as i battle with my own mental health issues and It took me a long time to believe that just by speaking up and talking to a professional could actually be helpful. This year has been one of the hardest years for me and it's not over yet! however, the people I have around are supportive and patient.
I am also very lucky to be in and around the water almost every day, swimming is what i enjoy doing and floating around in a pool is where I feel most comfortable, happy and calm.
For a long time i have said "i would like to have a dog however i hardly look after myself so how could I look after a dog...
Last year I adopted a camp dog "randomly, out of the blue" her name is Lucy. We needed eachother and she has been exactly what i needed and wanted by my side through thick an thin!!
FYI she now eats better than me 😏
