Support my swim for youth mental health
I'm swimming laps to raise awareness and funds for Youth Live4Life’s mental health education and youth suicide prevention model (Live4Life).
Live4Life communities deliver Youth Mental Health First Aid training in schools and the wider community, help to lead conversations about mental health that reduce stigma, and promote young leaders as mental health ambassadors.
Australia's suicide rate is 40% higher in rural over metropolitan areas. Please support my LAP it UP swim challenge - your donation can help to increase mental health knowledge among secondary school students, teachers, parents, carers and community members in rural and regional areas.

Why I decided to do this challenge
Sunday 29th Sep I have decided to do this swim challenge in October. I thought it would be a great challenge to get my training done next month before the Pan Pacs Swim meet in Queensland. It will also help me reach my distance goal for my annual Endurance Swim Challenge that I do each year. It will be a time commitment during my last month in the workforce. But it is a charity worth supporting - it is for youth mental health and suicide prevention. This is where I need your help. I would like to join their inaugural club for people who can swim 1000 laps and raise $1,000. I k now that I can swim the 1000 laps, but I need your help to raise the $1,000.
